Despite the still quite balmy weather for November, we got into the autumn spirit this weekend by raking leaves. Josh wanted to wait until every single leaf fell off the tree, but I couldn't stand looking like the hillbillies of the block (any more than we already do), so I managed to rake a few times over the past few weeks. Sunday, however, was the big haul, and despite having TWO (yes, TWO) leaf blowers at the cottage, we had to rent one since we forgot to bring them home. Sigh.
Nora and Owen got in on the fun -- as did Nesta and Pepper (our
houseguest for the week). We're all ready to gorge ourselves with turkey and the like tomorrow (Nesta and Pepper have requested a
Turducken). Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Awwwww -- Nesta and Pepper look so cute together. Oh, yeah -- and so do Nora and Owen. (Seriously, could those kids get any freakin' cuter?!)
