Gone Buggy, Part II

We woke up this morning to hundreds more cicadas than we had yesterday -- yowza! Thankfully, the kids are not remotely "bugged" by them; in fact, they love hunting for cicada shells and touching the live ones.

I'm glad the kiddos aren't scared of them; how is their mama holding up? And Nesta? I bet she finds them delicious!

I still haven't seen a single cicada! Maybe they'll skip the city this time around. I can hope.

Wow, MB--I leave town for five days and come back to an explosion of blog posts! It's fun to see the kids outside, playing with Sophie & Evie, hunting for cicadas, and having fun at Jan's. And your Mother's Day looked nice, too!

Ewwwww. I'm hoping they'll skip the city, too. Pictures of them nestled in the dirt seem perfectly natural; cicidas piled up on the concrete is something else entirely. [shudder]
