Despite the rain and mud, we had a nice time at the cottage over Memorial Day. Owen was in hog heaven, while Nora was fighting a fever so I can't use this weekend as a judge of her feelings about the lake.
Auntie and Uncle Sam found a cool bubble blower that doesn't tip and doesn't result in adults getting full of soap -- hooray! Other highlights included 5:30 am wakeup calls courtesy of Owen and a smelly dead fish that all three dogs decided to roll in. (Nesta, of course, went back for seconds and thirds.)

Bubbles!!! Whenever all the Game Day Girls go back to the cabin, I hope we'll get to enjoy the bubble maker, too. Looks like you guys had fun!
I'm just glad the blog doesn't have smell-o-vision. Dog in dead fish. Yech! Looks like it was a good weekend despite the stinkiness.
Someday we need to get Libby and Owen together for a 5:30 am playdate. Then you and I can go back to bed while they entertain each other.
